It’s September!
I’m that girl who LOVES the seasons changing but none as best as the warm humid weather comes to an end and the crisp chill in the airbrushes across my face when I step outside my garage door to go to work. This fall feels so different with now begin finished with Bible College and working crazy hours at my new job as a coordinator, but even with the change in pace I feel like it was time and so often we hesitate to move forward and would rather look back. I think looking back and reflecting is a beautiful and often forgotten thing that can help us with our perspective and look at the good times and the challenging times. Fall semester in college was my favorite and that’s not just because I got to wear my favorite oversized sweater although that was a plus, but that I was able to watch change happen outside with nature and God continuing to reveal new passions and dreams and letting old ones die.
Each tree in fall has its beautiful colors and things to reveal to us.
Each leaf has its pattern, shape, color, and time to fall.
Each fall day creates new life even though we are seeing things fall, but even ashes turn to beauty.
In my life, there have been many times I can say that my dream was in full transition and it was a good thing because it was beginning to show my true colors and what I needed to strive for. God did so much in 2020 during a time that included my blog, bible studying, and figuring out how teaching and blogging fit together. Within this same year we had to transition our minds, destinations of work and study, and even now allowing God and ourselves to leave what needed to fall. Last year made many of us re-think what was important and hopefully helped us realize that allow things to fall away can sometimes be a part of healing, refreshing, and strengthening us to continue and move past old dreams.
So let me leave you with this encouragement:
You will have times in your life that feel beautiful, colorful, and God is revealing to you all you could hope and imagine. Take joy and gratitude in those seasons and use your given joy to share with those who are in a season of dryness, fallen hopes, and a time of maybe silence or distance from God. Although God is never distant we can lose sight when we lose hope.
God has shaped and made you have your pattern of life and to walk in it wholeheartedly. Embrace what you bring to where you work, live, relationships, and pour out your color to show the goodness of God. When He says it’s time to fall… “Let go of a season” then take the time to reflect and fall in his grace and goodness.
Each day creates new beginnings and I’m so grateful for the grace when I’m low on faith. We can take heart knowing that when we fall he is right there ready to create something else beautiful. Allow God to prune your dream and desires and let the ones He says to let go then surrender them and watch them fall knowing that He has a new season coming.

Can I simply say what a relief to uncover someone who really understands what they are discussing on the internet. You certainly know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people ought to look at this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe you arent more popular since you certainly have the gift.
